Touring exhibition in cooperation with the Ministry for Culture and Tourism in the Ukraine, Kiev.
Nine nomadic peoples accompany us through 4,000 years of steppe culture.
Since the third century BC nomadic communities inhabited the European steppes. Each of these social groups developed its own character within the nomadic culture.
The exceptional objects that they left behind for us provide an insight into the nomadic way of life in general, as well as the peculiarities of each individual culture.
The complex world of nomadic life is consistently present throughout the exhibition, as are the tense and ever-changing relationships between the settled and nomadic peoples.
A visit to the exhibition is a walk through the centuries, accompanied by the wonderful exhibits and is therefore a sensory experience.
The exhibition design is based on the concept of the exhibition hall evoking an impression of a wide steppe landscape, over which the paths of the nomads cross. The visitors follow these paths, as if through high steppe grass.
Individual multimedia elements have been purposefully integrated.
